CBum-derived movement library + evidence-aware adaptive programming
Evidence mode is on.
CBum provenance is separate from research evidence. Personalized recommendations are heuristics built from your history—not claims that CBum or a study prescribed your exact workout.
Target specificity
Use Broad for a simple session, or Specific to rank exercises by anatomical emphasis. “Emphasis” does not mean other synergists stop working.
Broad mode: the app builds a balanced session from the selected split.
Joint status today
0 = no issue, 10 = severe. Used as a movement-selection heuristic only.

Evidence Center
Peer-reviewed studies informing V5's training logic, including longitudinal hypertrophy evidence and clearly labeled mechanistic/EMG evidence.
How target labels work
Primary target means the exercise is programmed principally for that muscle/region. Secondary means a meaningful synergist. Emphasis means a regional or mechanical bias—not isolation. EMG evidence is shown as mechanistic support and is not treated as proof of long-term hypertrophy.
Principles, not magic numbers.
V5 avoids claiming a universal optimal weekly set target, mandatory rep range, or need to hit failure every set.

Safety
Joint scores help identify patterns and alter exercise selection; they do not diagnose an injury.
